Where water in the soil or on a sealing layer is not specifically drained, retained water, additional pressure, and long-term damage can occur. Drainage mats create a permanently unobstructed drainage space, channeling the accumulating water to the designated collection or drainage points in a controlled manner.

Filter geotextiles prevent fine soil particles from clogging the drainage structure. Protection and separation layers shield sensitive geomembranes from mechanical stress. This results in a coordinated layer structure where each material performs a clearly defined function.

On slopes and open areas, we supplement the structure with erosion control systems. They reduce erosion caused by rain and surface water, stabilize the surface, and—depending on the system—can support permanent vegetation.
