II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right

• to confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the data being processed, to further information about the data processing, and to copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 DSGVO);
• to rectification or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 DSGVO);
• to the immediate erasure of the data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 DSGVO), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary pursuant to Art. 17 (3) DSGVO, to a restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO;
• to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to the transmission of this data to other providers/controllers (cf. also Art. 20 DSGVO);
• to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they are of the opinion that the data concerning them is being processed by the provider in breach of data protection provisions (cf. also Art. 77 DSGVO).

Furthermore, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any rectification or erasure of data or restriction of processing that takes place on the basis of Articles 16, 17 (1), 18 DSGVO. However, this obligation does not apply if this notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has a right to information about these recipients.

Likewise, pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided that the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f) DSGVO. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.

III. Information on data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, and no other information is provided below on individual processing procedures.

Cookie Manager

Contact requests / Contact option

If you contact us via contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. Providing this data is necessary to process and answer your inquiry – without it, we cannot answer your inquiry, or can only do so to a limited extent.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been finally answered, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web space provider. These so-called server log files are used to collect, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the website(s) on our site that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is accessed.

This data collected in this way is stored temporarily, but not together with other data from you.

This storage is based on the legal grounds of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data is wholly or partially exempt from deletion until the final clarification of an incident.

Google Analytics

On our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter 'Google'.

Google Analytics helps us analyze website usage and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The user can withdraw their consent to the use of Google Analytics at any time with future effect in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR via the 'Cookie Settings' on our website.

Information such as the time, location, and frequency of website visits, as well as interactions with the website (e.g., click paths, ads viewed/clicked on, clicks on links), including the user's IP address, are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 2 months.

Google LLC is part of the 'Data Privacy Framework', for which the EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR:

Google also collects 'demographic characteristics' and can create statistics that allow conclusions to be drawn about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This is done through the automated analysis of advertising and information from third-party providers.

If the user has activated personalized ads in their Google account and consents to Google Analytics, Google can analyze usage behavior across devices – i.e., across all devices that the user has linked to their Google account. Google creates models for cross-device conversions; we are only provided with anonymous statistics for this purpose, not personal data.

We use Google Analytics with an anonymization function. This means that Google truncates the user's IP address within EU member states or in other contracting states of the EEA Agreement.

Google uses the collected data to evaluate the user's visit to the website and to compile reports on website activity for us. The data is also used to provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

IONOS WebAnalytics

On our website, we use WebAnalytics. This is an analysis service from 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, hereinafter referred to as “WebAnalytics”, which allows us to analyze the use of our website.

For analysis purposes, data is collected on our behalf using a pixel or via the log files. This includes the type and version of your internet browser, your operating system, the type of your end device, the website from which you came to our website (referrer URL), the website(s) you visit on our site or the files you request, the date and time of each access, and the anonymized IP address of the internet connection from which our website is accessed.

If you have given your consent for this processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The legal basis can also be Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, improvement, and economic operation of our website.

BootstrapCDN

To optimize the retrieval speed, design, and display of our website's content on different end devices, we use the BootstrapCDN service, a Content Delivery Network (“CDN”), on our website. This is a service from StackPath, LLC, 2021 McKinney Ave. Suite 1100, Dallas, TX 75201, USA, hereinafter referred to as “BootstrapCDN”.

To be able to deliver the content of our website quickly, the service uses so-called JavaScript libraries. In this process, corresponding files are loaded from a BootstrapCDN server, which collects your IP address.

jQuery CDN

To optimize the retrieval speed, design, and display of our website's content on different end devices, we use the service

jQuery CDN, a Content Delivery Network (“CDN”). This is a service from the jQuery Foundation, hereinafter referred to as “jQuery”. jQuery is distributed for the JS Foundation via the StackPath CDN.

In this process, corresponding files are loaded from the CDN server, provided they are not already in your browser cache from visiting another website. When connecting to the CDN server, your IP address is collected. It cannot be ruled out that a connection to a server outside the EU may be established.
